X Topic Abstract:

The main reason of test automation lagging behind in the software testing lifecycle and becoming a technical debt later, is the inability to conceptualise and create automation tests before the application is ready. Waiting for our application to be developed and stable to begin automating our tests may not be the smartest way and leads us to constantly playing catch-up with the new features. Sahi Pro's latest release 9.0 introduces the brand-new concept of Business Driven Test Automation (BDTA) which solves the problem of functional automation in a simple and elegant way. BDTA allows creation of Business Scenarios very early in the development cycle - right at the feature conceptualization stage. BDTA is an Intuitive and easy framework that allows business testers to automate their tests easily. Testers can express the business intent in natural language, record actions, parameterize and data drive the tests, all through an intuitive UI. Watch an informative hand-on demo on Business Driven Test Automation using Sahi Pro.

Traditional QA methodologies have to shift in today’s world where the fast pace of technology demands higher quality. I will talk about how DevOps and QA can help each other in building better quality software. This can be done via tools such APM using synthetic monitoring and process changes around CICD using automated testing at every step of the delivery and deployment cycle. I will also touch on how QA team members can develop skills to tackle these new technologies and pace of delivery. I will also present real examples from my previous two companies where I helped transform the QA and DevOps teams.

X Topic Abstract

In Agile environment, release engineers, test engineers and other responsible IT professionals are challenged with releasing new features, products and enhancements with the speed of light. Businesses expect them to transform test timelines from months to weeks, weeks to days, days to hours, hours to minutes.
As an engineer, how would you ensure quality build in this ever decreasing timelines?
How would you feel confident in what is going out the door with little to no time?
What tools and techniques would you choose and why?
What policies and procedures would you implement and why?
Is there a magic bullet that can speed up our application quality in given time?
Join us as we uncover our journey of evaluating and choosing tools and techniques, inventing new processes, policies and methods to lead a peaceful, faster and reliable quality release processes.
But wait, were we perfect? What are our learnings along the way?
What changes in processes and teams mindset had become necessary? How did we receive approvals on expensive tools and resources? How did leaders showcase Return on Investments?

Teams in the Dojo work in “hyper sprints” with abbreviated ceremonies, so a 6-week challenge would consist of 12 sprints — and all the learning that entails, includes test automation pair programming, and CICD. The fast-paced Dojo environment enables teams to recognize old habits

X Topic Abstract

Speed is not important if it is not in the right direction. All companies are competing to satisfy (and exceed) customer’s expectations, what strategies are they adapting to improve their operations while avoiding extinction.
